Once you’ve submitted an application, our assessment process comprises two stages evaluating communication skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and aptitude for learning. Successful completion of each stage qualifies applicants to progress to the subsequent phase. Here's what to expect:

It's free! Our 4-month lecadet training program is fully funded, meaning if your application is successful, there is no cost to you.
Our lecadet program comprises of a mix of both online and classroom-based training.
The training schedule is Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with a split of lectures/software training and assignments.
At lecademy we want to ensure all lecadets receive enough support from our senior ex career legal support professionals and still facilitate a collaborative learning environment. Therefore, our intakes per training groups are capped at 6-12 lecadets.
Your salaried role as a legal support professional (eg. Junior legal secretary, Junior legal assistant) will start once you’ve been employed by us and placed on-site with one of our hiring partners.
The starting salary is $65k+ Super, with salary reviews and increases every 6 months. The training period is unpaid, however it's fully funded (free!).
The training is intensive and requires substantial time commitments and brain power! Some lecadets undertake casual or part-time jobs which we understand. So long as you're prepared and able to give maximum effort during the weekday training periods and for your project work.
No additional external training or certifications are provided on top of lecademy’s training curriculum however we assure you that our senior ex-career legal support professionals are seasoned experts in the legal industry!

Should you opt to terminate your employment within the 4-month training, you will be required to reimburse the training fee on a pro rata basis. The standard cost of our training, if not subsidised by us.
